We are Longton and District Motor Club, a NW England motor club. We run 5 successful sprint events per year and have a speed championship of our own. We host events that are used by other marque championships, such as the TVRCC. Three of our sprints are run at the 3-Sisters track near Wigan and we also have a sprint weekend at the fabulous Anglesey track in North Wales. We have a proud heritage and extensive experience spanning 50 years.

We are reaching out to owners clubs who may already take part in a speed championship, or have aspirations to start one, or perhaps would like to attend a limited number events on trial / 'see-how-it-goes' basis. Whatever the scenario, we can help. Sprint / hillclimb events are a fun way to safely enjoy a classic car at speed, explore the vehicle handling but without breaking the car or breaking the bank.

If you are interested then our dates are listed below.

Our 2012 dates are:

Three Sisters, Wigan (3 different layouts!)
Sunday, 15th April
Sunday, 1st July
Sunday, 9th September

Anglesey dates are still provisional but very firm; no problems foreseen.
Saturday, 6th October (National Circuit)
Sunday, 7th October (International Circuit)

Regards,
Craig Powers, Comp Sec and competitor (OMS 1100 racing car)
