If anyone requires a Mini Jem rear window in polycarbonate (Lexan) please let me know. I am about to order some and have made a template. Bear in mind that they will be quite expensive, especially if you require the hardened type (£85 plus carriage plus VAT) which is recommended for road use. The standard type (£49 plus ...) is fine for race cars but is more easily scratched. There is a considerable weight saving over glass - laminated in particular.

There may be a small discount if I can order several at once and you can collect from me (could be at LM, IMM, Stoneleigh etc) or alternatively you can order from my suppliers while the template is with them.

I fear they will not have the markings for the German TüV, otherwise would be interested.

You're probably right. I had some door windows done for a Mini Marcos and they are unmarked.

Hi
I would like a race version for my Jem. Can you confirm it will fit the rear hatch I have just got from Mike Brown. I don't foresee any problem, but have not got an original screen to compare.
Thanking You.

As far as i know the holes are supposed to be the same on hatch and body. Richard has a hatch any way.

Thanks Mike
Please Richard make that definite for the race one.
I'll arrange collection, assuming that it can be suitably protected

Sorry I missed your message. I'll email you.

The polycarbonate comes with a protective film on each side.
