i understand the father of all our little cars has died last saturday in a road accident, i dont know any details as yet, and if i find out any more, i'll post them up. |

have to admit i'm amazed at the lack of responses....oh well!
got this cutting from a local paper, i understand there's going to be a memorial service in the new year, in the west country.

A great shame and one of life's great risk takers, don't seem to be too many people about with the guts to do what Dizzy did in his lifetime. Someone should write a biography about his life as a memorial. Paul |

Thanks for posting the info Nick. Obviously it's sad news but what can you say. I had a trawl around but there's not that much about Dizzy on the web. I've added a short news item.

I have just picked up a copy of 'Aeroplane monthly' (march 2006 issue)magazine and discovered a two page article in the obituarys about Dizzy. It makes very interesting reading and has a small mention about the DART. |

Spotted this memorial plaque on a bench at Langland bay near Swansea, close to where Dizzy and his wife lived.
