I've had this car nearly 10 years but life has generally got in the way. However the boss recently gave the go ahead to retrieve the car and make a start. The car has been stored at a friend's house but as it's been there a while and he's not a keen gardener it has disappeared under rather a lot of brambles. After much hacking we managed to extract the car and load it onto the trailer for the short trip home. This jem will be my wires car so I let her loose with the jet wash while I dropped the trailer back. I returned to find most of the black paint now on the drive, that'll save some sanding. The following day we carried the shell around the back of the house and onto the decking to start the restoration.

It'll be a road car but along the lines of tarmac rally spec. It will be loosing the MK3 wheel arches but it will get some jem MK2 wider arches. I'm planning to have minimal interior but it will get a full cage.
