I wonder if there are any Mini based specials arround which can be inspected and eventually copied. I am thinking of cars like the Deep Sanderson, Landar, Terrapin, Status Minipower etc. as shown in the Books of Jeroen Booij. Is there any body still building spacials on Mini bases? K.W. |

Is there a chance to have a closer look at the car? If so send me an e-mail please. K.W. |

Nice web sites but I want a closer look at the chassis and suspensionconstruction details. Perhaps I would like to copy something.

Klaus,
If you're looking to build a 60's style rear engined mini special then the plans for the Terrapin are still available.
But first I would recommend getting a copy of 'High Speed Low Cost' by Allan Staniforth, designer of the Terrapin, which gives a lot of very useful tips about building and racing the Terrapin. |
