Well I'm not quite finished, this is a photo of progress a week or so ago.
If I get the bits to get my block and tackle up the engine will be in this week, then started next week.

What's the spec of the engine Wil? And the rest of the chassis for that matter! |

Engine: 998cc (+20 thou overbore, Mega pistons, rebuilt bottom end but standard) 12g295 head Kent 266 cam IHI RHF4 turbo Standard box with cross pin diff Focus intercooler And lots of boring bits to make it work
Chassis: Pretty much as it came. which is all mini. The only thing that I have changed is the shocks at the front (Konis) and I've change the front doungnuts for silicon ones. The rear is coilovers with spax adjustables.
It needs messing around with as it dosen't turn in as I'd like and it's differenmt in left and right turns. It's all to do with the rear alignment, but I need to build some adjustment in, which is not so easy. |

Well it's finished and runs, I took it up and down the road last night, all seems fine. I've hooked up the wideband lambda, so will get it an MOT and start tuning next week. I have sprayed that nose cone satin black and have a mash to fit.

Right well after lots of tossing around it is now all up and running as it should be, just needs setting up now. I've been struggling since I got it going with variable boost levels, sometimes 15psi plus, sometimes no more than 5psi.
Today I change the actuator, and hey presto consistant boost. the actuator was new and seemed ok when tested independantly, but was sticking, it's in the bin now.
Some photos
Sexy new front (daft camera angle)
New exhaust and stickers on the rear (thanks Jimster)
Nice shine red rocker cover new bonet prop!
