Alec Tanner's rare Tricar was welcome guest on the MMOC stand during the Mini World Action Day at Castle Combe on 24th September 2005. It is believed that 24 in all were made between 1969 and 1973 and this was one of the very last. The body all fibreglass with an integral steel tubular frame and detachable fibreglass bonnet. Early cars used the donor Mini nose section. The rear suspension is one half (the offside) of a Mini subframe. This example is currently fitted with a 998cc A+ Metro engine. | |
